When Life Beats You Down in Your Home Based Business….

August 25th, 2010 by Jay Neal 1 comment »

I was watching this clip from the last “Rocky” and it really hit a point that I have been trying to make to someone recently. You know that in life we get beat down and then like the flee in the jar story where a guy put a flee in a jar, now that flee can jump out with no problem. The guy put a lid on the jar and the flee would jump up and hit the lid and it would do it over and over again. After a while the flee adjusted the height that it would jump so it would not hit the lid. After a while the guy took the lid off and the flee still would jump just short of where the lid used to be.  Now we do that in everyday life, we get beat down by life and so we adjust and then we are prisoners to our misery. You have to step outside of your comfort zone to advance. You have to push yourself to succeed. Like in any sport you have to practice and work hard to win. You have to always strive to get better in whatever you do. You can’t get confortable in your situation and then complain that you don’t make enough money or your home based business is not growing. I was recently talking to a business associate and he was complaining that his work from home business was not growing. I ask him what he had been doing on a daily basis to build his business. He replied that he had talked to a couple of people and sent a few emails. I advised him that basically he was doing nothing and expecting his business to grow. Now the internet is huge and growing all the time. Yes you have the potential to expand beyond you dreams and expectations but you have to work at it. No business will grow itself, you must put in the time and effort to make it happen.  (There is more below the video)

Don’t quit your Network Marketing company!

August 10th, 2010 by Jay Neal No comments »

I normally don’t post twice a day but after my friend Cedrick Harris sent me this I could not help but share it with everyone!  Cedrick was telling me how one of his down line sent him a message whining and complaining about how it is hard and it hurts to have your own business. The point is you are the most influential person in your business so are you going to quit? It is your business not mine. You have to reach down and grab a pair and go for it! Don’t look at what yard line you are on just go for the goal.

Raymond Fong, What should a new business owner focus on in their business?

Again the No Excuses Summit was unbelievable and the information was flowing everywhere. The hallways were as jam packed with training as the main event was. Here I was able to talk with Raymond Fong one of the creators of the No Excuses Summit and co-founder of SEO Networker.com and asked him a few questions. He was like all the rest of the speakers, more than happy to answer questions even thou he was working on about 3 hours of sleep for the last four days. My question for Raymond was what he thought the first thing a new home based business owner should concentrate on in the beginning. His answer is below and it may suprise you. Thanks again Raymond!

Sheriff Woody, Home Based Business Guru!

July 27th, 2010 by Jay Neal 6 comments »

Sheriff Woody, Home Based Business Guru? What does Sheriff Woody a cartoon character from Toy Story 3 have to do with home based businesses? There are many things we can learn from cartoons, even the proper mind set for MLM. Only after you establish your mindset in the proper place will you ever experience any type of success in your business. The lessons learned here from Toy Story 3 are very simple and very profound. These should be the rules of network marketing. If you want to start your own work from home business, please listen to these words and if you have a home based business and you are struggling then you are probably not doing the right things that are here in this lesson. Shift the way you think and look at your business and then and only then can you release the true potential. Here is a great article by Trey Pennington and it really hits the nail on the head. Enjoy the story and learn from Sheriff Woody.

This article was originally written by Trey Pennington who is a guru in his own right, his specialties on the subjects of entrepreneurship, leadership, and public speaking.

Sheriff Woody Home based business guru

Toy Story 3 is an incredible story. Yep, even at my age I cried through the buildup to the ending. (The fact that my oldest three children are 20, 18, and 16 may have something to do with that; the three youngest are getting old, too: 8, 10, and 13; so, yes, it’s expensive to go to a movie!)

One of the lead characters is Sheriff Woody. If you can grasp Woody’s worldview, you just might get that social media return on investment you say you’re looking for.

Early into this third installment, Woody summarizes the worldview he’s displayed throughout the series. It happens shortly after the dinosaur bemoans the lack of attention he’s getting from Andy, their owner: “We’re NEVER going to get play time!” he says.

Interview with Jonathan Budd

I really enjoyed the No Excuses Summit in Las Vegas. All of the speakers were giving away so much value on stage and even more in the hallway. I was hanging out with Jonathan Budd and he was amazing. He talked to everyone that came up to him and was so personable and took the time to answer any and all questions that came up. I wish we would have had more time there but time was short. I asked Jonathan what was the one change in his life that made the biggest change in his business. Here is his answer.

Ferny Ceballos and SEO for a New Comer

July 20th, 2010 by Jay Neal 4 comments »

The No Excuses Summit was off the hook! Ferny Ceballos and Raymond Fong started this little gathering off with just their own students in mind. But after asking some of the top marketers to come and teach it grew and grew. Ferny and Raymond put on a great event with so much instruction and so many of the top marketers that it was truly unbelievable. The event went on long after it was scheduled with breakout sessions with each of the marketers that were on stage that day. It was packed full and then with the breakout sessions and time on breaks in the hallway you really have NO EXCUSES! I caught Ferny in the hall after his breakout session and ask him what he thought the most important part of SEO was for a new comer. Here is the video and I am sorry for all the noise there were lots of people at the summit! So what did he say? Check out below and watch the video for more.
