Raymond Fong, What should a new business owner focus on in their business?
Again the No Excuses Summit was unbelievable and the information was flowing everywhere. The hallways were as jam packed with training as the main event was. Here I was able to talk with Raymond Fong one of the creators of the No Excuses Summit and co-founder of SEO Networker.com and asked him a few questions. He was like all the rest of the speakers, more than happy to answer questions even thou he was working on about 3 hours of sleep for the last four days. My question for Raymond was what he thought the first thing a new home based business owner should concentrate on in the beginning. His answer is below and it may suprise you. Thanks again Raymond!
Raymond says the first thing to focus on is Keyword research. Start off small and work your way up. So many people try to start off trying to rank for a hugely competitive keyword. Start off trying to rank for a long tailed keyword. Take baby steps and work your way up to the more advanced keywords. Concentrate on the on-page SEO first then once you get that, you can branch out to off-page SEO. Once you rank for a long tailed keyword then you will feel the success and continue to work on it.
